Following the release of their critically acclaimed anti-hunger documentary A Place at the Table, filmmakers Lori Silverbush and Tom Colicchio invited Carrie to participate in their think tank at the Ford Foundation, exploring potential next steps to work toward reducing hunger and food insecurity in the U.S.
A project that came out of that meeting of minds was this video Carrie designed and produced. It was written and conceived by the Marcus Foundation with post-production by Participant Media. It supported the documentary’s affiliated anti-hunger campaign #SNAPAlumni, raising awareness about the severity of the problem and the value and need for food assistance programs.
